Proposal of a New Green Process for Waste Valorization and Cascade Utilization of Essential Oil Plants

In this study, different unit operations for distillation, extraction, capturing and separation of essential oil components from plants are evaluated, on the example limonene carvone caraway fruits. Hydrodistillation is standard process obtaining oils leaves distillation water (hydrolate) after phase distilled plant material (pomace) as waste streams. a valorization these streams, using techniques, such traps pressurized hot developed, reaching high yields, with plus 35%, compared to established methods, reducing overall global warming potential whole process, well cost goods by around 30%.
